Buzz Alert: Eloquii by The Limited
Obsessed With: Aidan Mattox Cold Shoulder Sequin Dress
I don’t know when I started loving the cold shoulder trend. Perhaps it was in the late 90s when I had a killer top that just was perfect for nights out or perhaps its one of those unexpected glimpses of shoulder that make the outfit. Either way, when I see a cold shoulder top, sweater or dress, it always gets a second look.
I am OBSESSED with Aidan Mattox’s Cold Shoulder Sequin Dress for evenings out, particularly this gal’s 4-0 that is creeping up on me at a rapid pace. This dress would be perfect for a night out in Vegas or NYC. Also, there’s always the inevitable holiday parties and, of course, the parties for both Food Network’s New York City and South Beach Food & Wine Festivals to consider. And, while the price is somewhat higher than I planned to spend (about the price of a stunning pair of Elizabeth & James stilettos), I think I can definitely get a good cost per wear average out of it. Nordy’s customers give this Aidan Mattox dress some stellar reviews so that’s also a plus.

Fall Into Fashion With Jessica London
Continuing our Fall Into Fashion series let’s take a look see at another of my favorites, Jessica London.
1. Looking for that *perfect* animal print blouse that takes things to the next level – check out this Animal Print Blouse with a keyhole detail.
2. Going with the military trend, how fabulous is this Military Style Coat to top off your outfit?
3. This Cropped Tweed Jacket would look luxe with a pair of dark denim jeans, booties and a strand (or three) of pearls.
4. Speaking of pearls, what about this Jewelneck Blazer With Pearl Trim. How very Coco!
5. To go with the Pearl Trim Blazer, why not pair it with this Textured Lace Pencil Skirt. Also, you could wear just the skirt with this gorgeous Drapeneck Sweater and channel your inner Joan from Mad Men
6. I adore cardigans – the cozier the better – and this Belted Cardigan Sweater is right up my alley (no pun intended!)
7. Looking for a dress that will take you from the office to a night on the town? Jessica London has a gorgeous Cobalt Pleat Front Dress that will capture everyone’s attention.
8. Finally, because it would NOT be fall without suede or leather, check out this gorgeous Suede Skirt that is dyin’ to be paired with a killer knee high boot – like their Alexa Boot.

Fall Into Fashion With IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel
IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel is another one of my favorite plus-size retailers. Every single item that I have from them is so well made and is timeless – a worthwhile fashion investment. I have learned over the years that when you buy quality, it will last. IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel can mix trendy and classic for pieces that will always make you look phenomenal.
Here are a few things that are on my “must get” list for this fall
1. I adore this TRIBECA top – the detailing and color is stunning and it will be a great transition top from summer to fall.
2. Wide leg pants are HUGE for fall and the KARINA Wide Leg Pants would be perfect with a sassy pair of high heel platform oxfords from Stuart Weitzman.
3. There’s something about a crisp blue shirt with white trim that has this executive air about it. This GAIL Cotton Blouse is definitely being added to my wardrobe for those “meeting moments” where red might not be the best option.
4. Another trend for fall: Color Blocking. IGIGI hits the mark with this LEAH dress with an autumn shaded border.
5. Also – as all things red & crimson are “in”, the FRANCESCA dress has that perfect shade of Louboutin red and it can go on or off the shoulder. I especially love it paired with the OBI Belt.
6. I adore accessories and IGIGI has some seriously stunning ones. The REGALIA Hard Body Clutch would be perfect for those date nights and holiday parties – and the champagne color hits that neutral/nude trend.
7. Want to be bold this fall – well the DAHLIA dress fits the bill with its burnout detailing in a shade of orange that will rival any fall tree. Pair it with the HAVANA Cross Body Satchel and these gorgeous Rachel Zoe Annie Pumps for a total win!
Fall Into Fashion – LANE BRYANT
You can’t have a Fall Fashion spotlight without mentioning Lane Bryant. Check out some of their new arrivals for Fall ’11.
1. Plaid is going to be HUGE for fall and this raw edge ruffled plaid shirt would look fabulous on a casual weekend with some great jeans and a killer pair of Sam Edelman wedge booties.
2. Love the detailing on the back of this ponte knit ruffle back skirt – very Mad Men. Matched with some killer stilettos and you are ready to take command of the boardroom.
3. Shirtdresses are a great basic to have in the wardrobe – you can dress them up and dress them down. Lane Bryant has a reasonably priced utilitarian shirtdress that has some pretty good reviews. They also have a fab. military shirt dress that would also do the trick.
4. I know some people have said that the military look is O.U.T. however for this specific ponte knit military jacket I’m ready to tell them to go jump in a lake. Love the detailing and not only is it in Olive Green but also Black.
5. Also big for fall – flyaway jackets. Lane Bryant has a gorgeous ponte knit flyaway jacket that will transition between the seasons. Pair it with one of their on trend sequin tanks and you are all set.
6. Fall also means break out those animal prints. Check out this sassy leopard print dress from DKNY Jeans that takes it to another level.
7. Finally, you can’t have fall without a good sweater and Lane Bryant is breaking out the open cardigans. I’m planning on adding a couple of these colors to my wardrobe this season – cozy chic indeed!
